He was very interested and invested in an extraordinary number of lives from coast to coast and around the world. His reach was both detailed and broad. But most importantly, it was deeply personal for Rich. He genuinely cared for everyone in his global network"

"What stands out to me was Rich’s genuine interest in our lives. He always wanted to know about us. My children, my sisters, my brothers, my mom. Sue and I always felt that he loved to visit us in Pennsylvania. It seemed his life’s calling was to travel to visit all of us ... east coast, west coast or in between. And he was wonderful at it. We all remember the excitement you felt when you knew he was coming to visit. His candle was the brightest imaginable. I will miss my dear friend immensely."
