DELTA DIAL COMMEMORATIVE ISSUE

When Rich Boroway died in August 18, 2020, an email was distributed to a few Delta Chapter brothers that conveyed the sad news of Rich’s passing

Immediately, brothers responded and started posting short tributes and memories of Rich under the Subject: “Why I Like Rich So Much”. Each posting was personal and touching which evoked our own set of emotions and memories.

In reading these stories, it quickly became apparent that they needed to be preserved and disseminated to an even wider audience because they spoke so eloquently of universal concepts such as friendship and brotherhood. Thus, the special commemorative edition of the Delta Dial, dedicated solely to the memory of Rich Boroway, was created. The edition was originally planned as a four to six page publication, but the tributes and remembrances kept coming, each one more touching and more poignant than the last. The publication eventually grew to twelve pages of Boroway tributes, each composed by a Delta Chapter brother from classes that spanned from 1965 to 2018, a remarkable fifty-four years.

This special commemorative issue of the Delta Dial not only recognizes what Rich Boroway meant to each of us individually and as a fraternity brother, but it also recognizes what Delta Chapter of Theta Chi means to so many of us!
